OSMOCES, the Open Source Mechatronics Outreach and Creative Exchange Symposium, will take place this weekend, October 5 at IIT’s Rice Campus in Wheaton, Illinois. Alas, personal plans will keep me away this year, but my family enjoyed last year’s event.
OSMOCES presents a chance to meet and mingle with a variety of Makers, STEM professionals, and educators as you learn about new technologies like Raspberry Pi, Arduino and 3D printers and see them in action. It’s geared toward enthusiast, professionals and high school students, though some middle schoolers may enjoy it too.
The fun takes place at IIT’s Rice Campus. Click for registration info.
