|Tesla relaxing after a run. #GetHosed|
Not only is this Saturday the Chicago Northside Mini-Maker Faire, but it’s also my first time hosting a booth at a Maker Faire. I’ll be upstairs in the cafeteria in the hands-on make and play space. I’ll provide the Big Reveal later in the week, but let me just say the theme of my project(s) is #GetHosed*.
It will be fun!
It will be unexpected!
It will be something you’ve never made before and it will use upcycled materials!
Side note: the Young Maker Teen is convinced it will be the lamest project at the Faire. Nothing like teens to instill confidence in a parent.
The Northside MMF will be held once again at Schurz High School at 3601 N. Milwaukee Avenue from 10 – 4.
Admission is free, but they do ask for a donation of $10 per adult and $5 per child. The event gets more popular each year, so reserve your tickets here.
#GetHosed is also the theme of my summer creative challenge. I still have 4 spots left. Let me know if you want in!
