Overview
Camp Brainiac is a summer day camp run exclusively by Iowa licensed teachers in the Des Moines area. Camp is perfect for school-age kids in grades K-3!
Camp Brainiac gives kids a break from the classroom but not from learning. Brainiac campers will spend their days immersed in fun experiential learning often designed around a different theme each week.
We've recruited the best teachers from across the Des Moines metro and given them creative freedom to align activities with Iowa's Core Curriculum requirements. They are passionate about kids and bring their enthusiasm to Camp Brainiac.
Camp Brainiac has been offered in partnership with the Cities of Ankeny and Waukee Parks & Recreation and is open to working with other parks and recreation departments. Registration is managed on their websites. Maximum 20 campers each session. Full-day campers bring your own lunch. Snacks provided daily. This is a great STEM summer day camp since 2018.
