Overview
Captivate S.T.E.A.M. Camp Jr. is a day camp for ages 7-9 which incorporates Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics into the activities for each week. The science lab investigations and art projects are thoughtfully intertwined in this camp.
Our S.T.E.A.M. camp inspires each child with individualized attention and problem solving projects, and is kept intentionally small so that children can build relationships with each other and the staff.

Junior Biologist: Animal Adaptations: Calling all curious animal lovers! Explore how animals survive and thrive through hands-on discovery. Campers will flip, sort, and investigate real-world adaptations through owl pellet dissections, bird beak simulation labs, paw print analysis, and animal X-ray comparisons. From creative STEM challenges to designing their own animal, this exciting week blends biology, problem-solving, and imagination into one unforgettable science adventure.
Jr. Rockhound: Crystals, Gems & Jewelry: Calling all young geologists! Uncover the dazzling science behind rocks and minerals through hands-on labs exploring minerals and rocks. Campers will grow their own sparkling crystals and transform natural treasures into custom jewelry or keychains to take home. It's the perfect blend of geology, chemistry, creativity, and STEAM-powered fun!
