At Camp Fire Heart of Iowa, we believe every child deserves a summer filled with adventure, friendship, and personal growth. Our summer camps offer inclusive, nature-based programs designed to help youth connect with the outdoors, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
Summer Day Camp provides an exciting experience for youth going into Kindergarten through 5th grade providing the perfect balance of nature and urban adventures. Each week follows a specific theme exploring fun and engaging topics and includes trips to the local pool, group games, crafts, and exciting field trips. This program also features a literacy and STEM program, supported by United Way, proven to help reduce summer learning loss. All campers will need to bring a sack lunch. If desired, campers can also bring additional snacks.
Kids entering K-5 and 6-8, with camp options by grade to provide age-appropriate activities and/or specialty sessions.
Give your child an unforgettable summer at resident camp! Overnight Summer Camp is magical for many campers - activities may include rock climbing, archery, rifelry, pottery, canoeing, nature, sports, drama, music, outdoor education, and so much more! Each week follows a specific theme exploring fun and engaging topics and includes trips to the local pool, group games, crafts, and exciting field trips. This program also features a literacy and STEM program, supported by United Way of Central Iowa, proven to help reduce summer learning loss.
Kids entering 1-12, with camp options by grade to provide age-appropirate activities and/or specialty sessions.
