Overview
Does your child show an interest in science? Nurture and grow their enthusiasm by signing them up for a summer camp or online program where they can balance learning with having fun. Destination Science offers four unique themed day camps each summer, along with various virtual experiences for kids ages 5 to 11. Learn more about our camps located throughout Santa Clara County.
Our summer camp sessions last anywhere from one to four weeks. Each one runs Monday through Friday, and we group campers by age to let them enjoy grade-appropriate activities. Though every day touches on different concepts, we employ a similar daily structure. Children engage in three imaginative and unusual experiments each day, with time to work collaboratively and independently. They go outside to play games twice every day, and we wrap up each afternoon with a Camp Rally, where we sing songs and discuss the campers' accomplishments.
Every child in the 21st century must understand science. It's a part of our daily lives, from using digital devices to observing the weather. We believe introducing these concepts to kids while they're young grows their enthusiasm for the subjects as they get older. STEM camp teaches children more than informational skills. They also learn social skills they'll continue to nurture when school resumes, such as:

* Communicating
* Practicing openness to trying new things
We encourage the development of great character traits — such as empathy, responsibility and fairness — by rewarding children with "terrific" beads to put on their lanyards.
