Overview
* GROW offers rising high school seniors the opportunity to perform research in a lab at BU for six weeks; * Participants attend a mandatory one day orientation on July 6th * Participants are placed individually in labs where they work from July 7th - August 14th M-F from 9:30AM-4:30 PM
ELIGIBILITY: * Must currently be a junior enrolled in a school in Massachusetts and live within a 30-mile radius of Boston * Must be at least sixteen years old by July 1, 2026 * Must have a demonstrated record of achievement in science
BENEFITS: * Receive a stipend of up to $2,000 upon completion of all program requirements; * Participate in cutting edge research in a collaborative group setting; * Meet several times a week with the Program Manager to set goals and report of progress of your research; * Hear guest speakers discuss their research and/or careers in STEM; * Develop communication skills by presenting your research at a summer symposium.
