Overview
The MLC STEM Learning Center welcomes children in grades 1-6 at its campus in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Children can attend as many weeks as they want here for half or full weekdays.
The camps immerse children in STEAM concepts through robotics, programming, maker labs, and engineering classes. There is also a focus on chess and developing critical thinking as a core of the curriculum. Classes on chess can develop many useful skills for life, including creative problem-solving and independence, and they teach the importance of competition.
Summer camps are just the start at MLC STEM Learning Center. They also offer year-round lessons and programming for home-school students.
