Overview

Computational Thinking Practices form the cornerstone of the language of innovation, and will drive all future STEM discoveries.

* Edison Robots I & II — Ages 5-7: Students learn the basic concepts of controlling machines via simple programming interface that consists of drag and drop icons. The classroom activities allowed the students to progress at their own rates. Simple concepts building into more complex operations and as students complete each activity they can move on to higher level activities at their own pace.

* Lego® WeDo 2.0 — Ages 8-10: Students ages 8-10 years of age will learn to apply STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts with robotics using the Lego WeDo 2.0 environment. Working in groups of 2, students will learn to build and program robotic operations using motors and sensors.

* Lego® Mind Storm | 3D Printing — Ages 11-13: Older students that have acquired more advanced thinking and reasoning skills, learn programming skills that will enable the students to create robots that can run in an autonomous mode to perform operations such as: navigating mazes, picking up objects, and deciding on actions based on sensors. In addition, this age group will also learn 3D Printing.
