Overview
Join us for Summer Camp at the San Diego Zoo! In weeklong, full-day camps (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.), campers enjoy wildlife experiences, exclusive habitat visits, talks with wildlife care specialists and other Zoo team members, art projects, hands-on learning activities, crafts, and games.
Participants will receive a Summer Camp T-shirt. Campers will need to bring their own lunch, snack, and sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes for long walks (no flip-flops), clothes that can get dirty, and a hat.
Choose from two different kindergarten-level Classic Camp programs:
* Wonderful Wildlife Discoveries: Discover amazing wildlife species and how they live their lives. From uncovering their hideouts to discovering unusual eating habits, learn how absolutely amazing wildlife can be! Upcoming Dates: June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, July 6-10, 2026
* Wildlife on the Move!: Boogie through the Zoo while exploring how different animals move. Whether they slither on land, swim in the sea, or soar in the sky, have fun learning about the unique ways wildlife get around! Upcoming Dates: July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31, August 3-7, 2026
