Overview
We offer five programs throughout the year for students in grades K–12 in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math (STEAM). Since 1983, our community experts have sparked curiosity and a love of learning in young people. To help you navigate our offerings, we organize programs by grade band: K–8 and 9–12.
Our Next Generation Summer Camps offer immersive, hands-on learning experiences for grades K–8 in Portland, Oregon — where students explore the intersections of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math.
* EXPLORERS: Dive into different STEAM-inspired worlds each week, making summer the ultimate celebration of a learning journey. With new adventures each day, explorers collaborate, think critically, practice problem-solving, and express themselves through unique hands-on projects, activities, and exercises. Each session features elements of science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math designed to empower students to practice, play, and innovate!
* MAKERS: Answer the question, "How does it work?" and empowers YOU to do it yourself! With an emphasis on process, campers learn and tackle various skills within favorite STEAM topics. Dive deeper into whatever sparks your curiosity and BONUS, meet real-world professionals alongside dynamic educators to make concepts real.
* CREATORS: Mine STEAM inspiration from a variety of core STEAM industries and skills to put their ideas into action. The ultimate celebration of experimentation, Creators create a community of different, but like-minded next generation innovators.
