Summer camp at Keystone Science School is all about adventure, discovery, and unforgettable memories! Campers spend their days exploring the great outdoors, learning cool science, and building lifelong friendships. Whether they're summiting local peaks, splashing through rivers, or gathering around the campfire, every moment is filled with fun, laughter, and growth. With passionate counselors, hands-on activities, and a supportive community, summer camp is where curiosity and confidence come to life.
Discovery Camp
* Overnight camp for kids entering grades 1st through 8th grade in the fall.
* 6-day camps, Monday through Saturday – offered each week from June until August.
* Shorter 4-day and longer 12-day sessions also available.
Set against the stunning backdrop of our 23-acre campus and the surrounding Rocky Mountains, Discovery Camp blends traditional camp fun with hands-on science and adventure. Each session features core activities and exciting outdoor adventures, all while exploring a unique science theme each week. Adventures include rock climbing, rafting, mountain hiking, backpacking, campfires, talent shows, and more! For older kids, the CAP (Counselor Assistant) program for 9th-12th grades is the next step in our camp progression, learn more here.
Day Camp
* For campers entering grades K – 5th.
* Campers must be at least 5 years-old prior to attending camp in 2026.
Our week-long Day Camp immerses campers in nature, using our 23-acre campus and surrounding wilderness to inspire outdoor exploration. Each session features a unique science theme, sparking curiosity through hands-on learning, core activities, and exciting adventures. Campers discover the natural world, challenge themselves outdoors, and experience the perfect mix of science, fun, and exploration!
