Phoenix Zoo

Overview

At the Phoenix Zoo camps, kids will meet the zoo animals both big and small. Instructors take them on nature walks and teach students about the natural world. Apart from outdoor activities, there are indoor activities to ensure campers stay cool in the warm temperatures of Phoenix. These include crafts, games, and demonstrations.

They also host camps in the spring, and all are open to students entering kindergarten through sixth grade. Kindergarteners will have a half-day camp, starting at 8:00 a.m. and finishing at 11:30 a.m., while all other participants stay until 3:00 p.m. You just need to pack a lunch for your kid, but snacks are provided for them.
